Persuasive Skills Workshop – course content:
- Audience: Learn techniques to orient your message to the audience in a respectful manner.
- Opinions: Explore skills to persuade an audience towards a point of view on an issue.
- Ideas: Explore techniques to generate relevant ideas and examples to support your argument.
- Structure: Learn a great technique to help structure your thoughts in a persuasive manner.
- Paragraphing: Apply this structure to build and support your argument through paragraphing.
- Persuasive Devices: Learn techniques to enhance your position and persuade the audience.
We can tailor our workshops to meet your schools needs and budget.
Our workshops include age appropriate activities with special focus on NAPLAN primary and middle school year levels.
Our workshops are based on teaching persuasive skills through speaking activities. Students can apply these skills and structures to both written and spoken forms.
