Are you trying to find the best drama classes or public speaking classes for your child?
6 reasons why Chatterbox Club is Melbourne’s premier speaking and drama classes:
1. We are proven & effective.
We teach over 1500 children a range of skills in public speaking and drama each year. We see the growth in our students every week. We see our students develop in many areas including: speaking with confidence, developing creativity, building self esteem, thinking on their feet, becoming more assertive, building self awareness, becoming more assertive, making friends and much more.
2. We offer a leading curriculum.
We have spent over 12 years perfecting our curriculum to help teach your child a range of skills that will last a life time. We offer a unique long term structured programme that incorporates a mix of public speaking and drama skills. Our programme is connected to,
and compliments areas of the Australian School Curriculum, Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) and the NAPLAN writing genre to ensure our students can achieve more in school life and beyond. For more info on how our curriculum connects to the VELS and how this can help your child, please click here.
3. We have great teachers.
Our teachers are experienced, accredited, qualified and skilled at teaching children. Our teachers are supported by our principal Vicki Skyring. We know the importance of great teachers so you can rest assured that your child is in the best hands. To find out more about why our teachers are great, please click here.

4. We are a true Speaking and Drama programme. Drama is a valuable tool in building life skills such as self esteem, imagination & communication. This forms a large part of our programme. However, Drama alone does not always provide sufficient structure for good public speaking, presentation skills and confidence in speaking abilities. Over the course of each year, our programme balances both speaking activities and drama activities to ensure that students can develop drama skills and present their thoughts and opinions in a clear, concise and confident manner.
5. Our specialty is in teaching children and young adults.
Our experience and background is in teaching children and young adults. We apply a positive reinforcement teaching approach and we use reward systems to encourage and recognise our students for their progress. We have a unique method and style that connects with children and young adults to deliver better results.
6. We pride ourselves on being fun, friendly, supportive and welcoming.
When a child is having fun, their learning outcomes are often greater. From research we conducted in 2007, we found that most children think public speaking to be “too hard”, “too boring” and “too scary”. Our aim is to change this. That is why we are dedicated to ensure learning these skills are now made fun and easy for all children and young adults.
